Method

Prepare Wonton Shells

  1. 1

    Fry the Wontons

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until hot. Carefully place the wonton wrappers into the oil, a few at a time, frying them until they are golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Ahi Tuna Filling

  1. 2

    Dice the Ahi Tuna

Cut the Ahi tuna steak into small, bite-sized cubes. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tuna with soy sauce, sesame oil, green onion, lime juice, and salt. Mix gently to combine and set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Make Spicy Mayo

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice until well combined. Adjust the spiciness to your liking by adding more sriracha if desired.

Assemble Tacos

  1. 4

    Fill the Wonton Shells

Take a crispy wonton shell and fill it with a generous amount of the marinated Ahi tuna. Top with sliced avocado, a sprinkle of cilantro, and a drizzle of spicy mayo. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
