Method

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.

Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Add the cut fries in small batches and fry for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate. Season with salt while hot.

Coleslaw Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix the Coleslaw Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. 6

    Chill the Coleslaw

Cover the coleslaw with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 7

    Assemble the Dinner

On each plate, serve a portion of shrimp alongside a generous serving of fries and a scoop of coleslaw. Add a dinner roll on the side. Enjoy your shrimp dinner!
