Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Rinse the shrimp and mussels under cold water to remove any grit. Pat dry with paper towels. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

  3. 3

    Chop the Parsley

Rinse the fresh parsley and chop it finely. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half and juice one half. Slice the other half into wedges for garnish.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  2. 6

    Add the Seafood

Add the shrimp, salmon, and mussels to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Stir gently to combine.

  3. 7

    Cook the Seafood

Cook the seafood for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink, the salmon is cooked through, and the mussels have opened.

  4. 8

    Finish with Lemon and Parsley

Remove the skillet from heat. Squeeze the lemon juice over the seafood and sprinkle the chopped parsley. Toss gently to combine.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Seafood

Transfer the seafood mixture to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon wedges and additional parsley if desired.

  2. 10

    Serve Immediately

Serve the seafood hot, accompanied by crusty bread or over a bed of rice if desired.
