Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

For Breaded Chicken Wings

  1. 3

    Setup Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. 4

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken wing in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs adhere.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 5

    Bake the Wings

Place the breaded (or unbreaded) chicken wings on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

While the wings are baking, prepare your sauce of choice by heating it in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  3. 7

    Toss with Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in your desired sauce until evenly coated.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Serve the chicken wings hot with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
