Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips about 1 inch wide. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour, whisked egg mixed with milk, and bread crumbs. Season the flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Breading

  1. 3

    Bread the Chicken Strips

Take a chicken strip, coat it in flour, then dip it in the egg mixture, and finally coat it with bread crumbs. Repeat for all chicken strips.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot, about 350°F (175°C).

  2. 5

    Fry the Chicken Strips

Carefully place the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
