Chicken Strips

Hot Sauce (optional)

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cut the Chicken

Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Breading Stations

Set up three bowls: one with all-purpose flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Bread the Chicken Strips

Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, coating it well. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the breaded strips on a plate.

  2. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  3. 5

    Fry the Chicken Strips

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 6

    Drain and Serve

Once cooked, transfer the chicken strips to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot, optionally with hot sauce on the side.
