Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Onions

While the beef is cooking, finely chop the onion. You can either leave it raw for a crunch or sauté it in the same skillet for a few minutes until softened.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Wraps

Lay the tortilla wraps flat on a clean surface. If desired, warm them slightly in a microwave for 15-20 seconds to make them more pliable.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Layer Ingredients

On each tortilla, place a few lettuce leaves in the center, followed by a portion of the cooked ground beef. Then add a slice of cheddar cheese on top.

  2. 5

    Add Pickles and Onions

Next, add a generous layer of pickles and the chopped or sautéed onions on top of the cheese.

  3. 6

    Drizzle with Dressing

Drizzle a tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing over the top of the onions and pickles.

  4. 7

    Sprinkle Sesame Seeds

Finally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the toppings for added crunch and flavor.

  5. 8

    Wrap it Up

Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll from the bottom up to form a tight wrap. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
