Squeeze the Lime
Start by cutting a fresh lime in half and squeezing the juice from one half into a measuring jigger. You should aim for about 1 oz of fresh lime juice.

Measure the Jack Daniels
Using the same measuring jigger, measure out 2 oz of Jack Daniels whiskey.

Prepare the Glass
Take a copper mug or a highball glass and fill it with ice cubes to chill the glass.

Combine Ingredients
Pour 2 oz of Jack Daniels whiskey and 1 oz of fresh lime juice over the ice in the prepared glass.

Add Ginger Beer
Top off the mixture with 4 oz of ginger beer. Pour it gently to maintain the fizz.

Garnish the Drink
Take a lime wedge and place it on the rim of the glass for garnish. Add 5 fresh mint leaves on top for added aroma and a touch of freshness.
