Prepare the Meat
Choose your preferred meat (corned beef, turkey, or bison). If using corned beef, slice it thinly against the grain. For turkey or bison, ensure they are cooked and sliced into manageable pieces.

Prepare the Sauerkraut
Drain the sauerkraut in a colander and rinse it under cold water. Squeeze out excess moisture and set aside.

Assemble the Sandwich
On four slices of rye bread, evenly layer the sliced meat, followed by the sauerkraut and Swiss cheese slices. Drizzle with Thousand Island dressing before topping with the remaining four slices of rye bread.
