Method
Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags, allowing them to drain into the pot for a few seconds.
Sweetening the Tea

If you prefer sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar to the hot tea and stir until completely dissolved.

Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice for added flavor, if desired.
Chilling the Tea

Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer to a pitcher.
