Gather Ingredients
Before you start, make sure you have all the ingredients measured and ready to go.

Combine Vodka and Kahlua
In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup of vodka and 0.5 cups of Kahlua. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.

Prepare Glass
Take a tall glass and fill it with ice cubes to chill.

Pour Mixture
Strain the vodka and Kahlua mixture into the prepared glass over the ice.

Add Coca-Cola
Top off the glass with 1 cup of Coca-Cola, pouring gently to maintain the carbonation.

Add Cream
Slowly pour 0.5 cups of heavy cream over the back of a spoon into the glass for a layered effect. Do not stir.

Garnish and Serve
You can garnish with a maraschino cherry or chocolate shavings if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.
