Main Ingredients

Method

Main Dish Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Sausage and Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Add the diced bell pepper and onion, and sauté until vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, sautéed sausage and vegetables, and marinara sauce. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Baking

Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, spreading it evenly over the top.

  5. 5

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the spaghetti for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garlic Cheese Bread Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.

  2. 7

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

  3. 8

    Bake the Bread

Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake in the oven alongside the baked spaghetti for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
