Method

Lobster Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Lobster

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster tails, claws, and knuckles. Boil for 8-10 minutes or until the lobster is cooked through and the shells turn bright red. Remove the lobster from the pot and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Extract the Meat

Once the lobster is cool enough to handle, remove the meat from the tails, claws, and knuckles. Chop the meat into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl.

  3. 3

    Mix the Filling

Add the mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the lobster meat. Gently fold everything together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Bun Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the softened butter. Once melted, lightly toast the split-top buns in the skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Lobster Rolls

Once the buns are toasted, evenly fill each bun with the lobster mixture. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.
