Bread Pudding

Method

Bread Pudding Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Prepare the Bread

Cut the brioche bread into 1-inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

3

Make the Custard Mixture

In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, dulce de leche, eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt until well combined and smooth.

4

Combine Bread and Custard

Pour the custard mixture over the brioche cubes, ensuring all the bread is soaked. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5

Bake the Bread Pudding

Transfer the bread mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

6

Cool the Pudding

Once baked, remove the bread pudding from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Whipped Cream Preparation

7

Make the Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip with an electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.
