Vegetables and Tofu

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tofu

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.

  2. 2

    Make the Garlic Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, garlic (minced), and a dash of sesame oil to create the garlic sauce.

  3. 3

    Stir-fry the Vegetables

In a large wok or frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and stir-fry for 2 minutes, then add the bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, cabbage, scallions, baby corn, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  4. 4

    Add the Tofu and Sauce

Add the pressed tofu and garlic sauce to the wok, and toss everything together. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until heated through.

  5. 5

    Finish with Basil and Chilies

Stir in the Thai basil leaves and sliced chilies. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Thai Basil Tofu hot over steamed rice or noodles.
