Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Method

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Take two slices of whole wheat bread and lay them flat on a clean surface or plate.

  2. 2

    Spread Peanut Butter

Using a butter knife, spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly on one slice of bread.

  3. 3

    Spread Jelly

Using a clean knife or spoon, spread 2 tablespoons of your choice of jelly or jam evenly on the other slice of bread.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Carefully place the slice of bread with jelly on top of the slice with peanut butter, pressing them together gently.

  5. 5

    Cut the Sandwich

Optional: Cut the sandwich in half or quarters for easier handling.

Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 7

    Season the Potatoes

In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder until evenly coated.

  3. 8

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  4. 9

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  5. 10

    Serve

Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving alongside the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
