Method

Sandwich Preparation

  1. 1

    Spread Peanut Butter

Take one slice of bread and spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter evenly over it.

  2. 2

    Spread Jelly

On another slice of bread, spread 2 tablespoons of jelly evenly on the surface.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Carefully place the slice with jelly on top of the slice with peanut butter, jelly-side down, to form a sandwich.

  4. 4

    Cut and Serve

Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and set aside while you prepare the fries.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Wash and Cut Potatoes

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat 2 cups of oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the cut potatoes to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  4. 8

    Drain and Season

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt while they are still hot.

  5. 9

    Serve

Serve the fries alongside the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
