For the Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Method

For the Grilled Chicken Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade. Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled chicken breast, a slice of cheddar cheese, and a tomato slice. Spread mayonnaise on the top half of the bun and place it on top to complete the sandwich.

For the Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes (if desired) and cut them into fry shapes. Rinse them in cold water and pat them dry with a towel.

  2. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the cut potatoes in batches and fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  3. 6

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle salt over them to taste. Toss to ensure even distribution.
