Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Toast the Bread

Preheat your toaster or toaster oven. Place 6 slices of Texas toast in the toaster and toast until golden brown and crispy. This should take about 3-5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tomato

While the bread is toasting, wash and slice the tomato into thin slices. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

If your bacon is not cooked, fry it in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, place the bacon on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  4. 4

    Gather the Ingredients

Once the bread is toasted, gather all your ingredients: toasted Texas toast, deli ham, deli turkey, cooked bacon, lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, cheddar cheese, and mayonnaise.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Layer the First Level

Take 2 slices of toasted Texas toast. Spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise on one side of each slice. On one slice, layer 2 slices of ham, followed by 2 slices of turkey, and then 2 slices of bacon.

  2. 6

    Add Vegetables

On top of the meat layer, add 2 lettuce leaves and 2 slices of tomato.

  3. 7

Add Cheese and Second Toast Layer

Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on top of the vegetables. Then, take another slice of toasted Texas toast, spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise on one side, and place it mayonnaise-side down on top of the cheese.

  4. 8

    Top Layer

Repeat the layering process by adding 2 more slices of ham, 2 more slices of turkey, and 2 more slices of bacon on top of the second slice of toast. Top with 2 more lettuce leaves, 2 slices of tomato, and 2 slices of cheddar cheese.

  5. 9

    Finish with Last Toast Slice

Finally, take the last slice of toasted Texas toast, spread mayonnaise on one side, and place it mayonnaise-side down to finish the sandwich.

  6. 10

    Cut and Serve

Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters. Secure each quarter with a toothpick if desired, and serve immediately.
