Method
Chicken Tenders
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first bowl, beat the eggs in the second bowl, and place the breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, ensuring it is fully coated, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken strips in batches, frying each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Fries
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- 6
Fry the Potatoes
In another deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the potato strips in batches and fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- 7
Season the Fries
Sprinkle the fries with salt immediately after removing them from the oil for better adherence.
