Method

Ribs Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the top foil, and brush BBQ sauce on both sides. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes until caramelized.

Other Meats Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Beef Brisket

Rub the brisket with salt and pepper. Place it in a slow cooker and cover it with BBQ sauce. Cook on low for 8-10 hours until tender.

  2. 6

    Cook the Chicken Thighs

Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Grill over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  3. 7

    Grill the Sausages

Grill sausages over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.

Side Dishes Preparation

  1. 8

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well.

  2. 9

    Bake the Cornbread

Prepare cornbread according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Bake until golden brown.

  3. 10

    Serve Pickles

Arrange pickles in a serving dish to accompany the BBQ meats.
