Prepare the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions, carrots, and celery, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Garlic and Meat
Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, then add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Simmer the Sauce
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Spaghetti
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Serve
To serve, place spaghetti on a plate, top with Bolognese sauce, and garnish with herbed ricotta, grated parmesan, and fresh basil.
