Prepare the Greens
In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced red onion, and halved cherry tomatoes.

Add Croutons and Cheese
Sprinkle croutons and bleu cheese crumbles over the top of the salad mixture.

Cook and Slice the Steak
If using grilled steak, season it with salt and black pepper and grill it to your desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

Assemble the Salad
Place the sliced steak on top of the salad. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette before serving.
