Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Ribeye
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh rosemary to create a marinade. Rub the marinade all over the ribeye steak, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Ribeye
Once hot, place the marinated ribeye steak on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness, or longer if you prefer it more well done. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.

Rest the Steak
Remove the steak from the grill or skillet and place it on a cutting board. Cover it loosely with aluminum foil and let it rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Serving

Slice and Serve
After resting, slice the ribeye against the grain and serve it on a plate. You can garnish it with additional fresh rosemary if desired.
