Pork Chop

Grilled Mushrooms and Onions

Method

Preparation of Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork Chops

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture all over the pork chops and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).

Grilling the Pork Chops

  1. 3

    Grill the Pork Chops

Place the marinated pork chops on the grill. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from the grill and let them rest.

Preparing Grilled Mushrooms and Onions

  1. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced mushrooms and onions, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until they are softened and slightly caramelized.

Preparing the Side Dish

  1. 5

    Steam the Broccoli

Steam the broccoli florets until they are bright green and tender, about 5-6 minutes.

  2. 6

    Season the Broccoli

In a bowl, toss the steamed broccoli with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

On a plate, place a grilled pork chop, top with the sautéed mushrooms and onions, and serve alongside the seasoned steamed broccoli.
