Crust Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crust
In a medium mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until all crumbs are coated with butter.
- 2
Form the Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Use the back of a measuring cup to help create an even layer.
- 3
Bake the Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for about 8-10 minutes or until golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
Filling Preparation
- 4
Mix the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- 5
Fold in Whipped Topping
Gently fold the whipped topping into the peanut butter mixture until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the whipped topping.
- 6
Fill the Crust
Spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust. Use a spatula to smooth the top.
- 7
Chill the Pie
Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Topping Preparation
- 8
Add Fudge Syrup
Once the pie is set, drizzle fudge syrup over the top of the pie, allowing some to drip down the sides.
- 9
Serve with Whipped Cream
Slice the pie and serve each slice with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of chopped peanuts on top.
