Method
Prepare the Patty
- 1
Mix the Beef
In a large bowl, combine the Certified Angus Beef ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
Grill the Burgers
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
- 4
Cook the Patties
Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
Assemble the Burger
- 5
Toast the Buns
If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
