Prepare the Grape Leaves
If using jarred grape leaves, rinse them thoroughly under cold water. If using fresh grape leaves, blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until soft. Drain and cool.

Stuff the Grape Leaves
Lay a grape leaf flat on a clean surface, vein side up. Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling at the base of the leaf. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the base to the tip. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.

Cook the Dolmas
Place the dolmas seam-side down in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the dolmas. Place a plate on top to keep them submerged. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 30-40 minutes.
