Method

Preparation

1

Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 2 cups of fresh water to a boil. Make sure the water reaches the boiling point.

2

Measure the Tea Leaves

While the water is boiling, measure 2 teaspoons of white tea leaves and place them in a teapot or infuser.

Brewing

3

Pour Water over Tea Leaves

Once the water has boiled, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 30 seconds. Then, pour the hot water over the tea leaves in the teapot or infuser.

4

Steep the Tea

Allow the white tea to steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Adjust steeping time for a stronger or lighter flavor as desired.

Serving

5

Strain and Serve

After steeping, strain the tea into cups, discarding the leaves. If desired, add honey to sweeten and a slice of lemon for flavor.

6

Enjoy

Serve the tea hot and enjoy the delicate flavors of the white tea.
