Preparation of Tuna

Select and Prepare Tuna
Choose high-quality, sashimi-grade fresh tuna from a reputable source. Ensure it is bright red, firm, and has no fishy smell.
- 2
Slice the Tuna
Using a sharp knife, slice the tuna into thin, even slices, approximately 1/4 inch thick. Ensure the knife is wet to avoid sticking.
