Fish Preparation

Sprinkle the koi fish fillets with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper on both sides. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned koi fish fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flaky.
Truffle Aioli Preparation

Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, truffle oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Stir well until everything is fully incorporated.

Add salt to taste, adjusting according to your preference. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
Citrus Ponzu Preparation

Combine Sauces
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, yuzu juice, rice vinegar, lime juice, and mirin until well mixed.

Place the cooked koi fish fillets on a serving plate.

Drizzle truffle aioli over the fish and then drizzle the citrus ponzu around the plate for added flavor.
