Make the Plum Puree
Wash and chop ripe plums, then blend them until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove skins and any solid pieces. You should have about 1 oz of smooth plum puree.

Prepare Hibiscus Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar with dried hibiscus flowers. Heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is fragrant. Allow it to cool, then strain out the flowers to get your hibiscus syrup.
