Preparation
Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients: Jasmine Silver Needle tea leaves, filtered water, and optional honey and lemon zest.
Measure Tea Leaves
Weigh out 2 grams of Jasmine Silver Needle tea leaves using a kitchen scale.
Measure Water
Measure 250 ml of filtered water using a liquid measuring cup.
Brewing
Heat Water
Bring the measured filtered water to a temperature of around 85°C (185°F) using a kettle. Do not boil the water.
Add Tea Leaves
Place the Jasmine Silver Needle tea leaves into a teapot or tea infuser.
Steep
Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your taste preference. Taste the tea after 3 minutes to see if it’s to your liking.
Strain and Serve
If using loose leaves, strain the tea into a cup. If using an infuser, simply remove it.
Optional Flavoring
Add Honey and Lemon Zest (if desired)
If you prefer a sweeter tea, add 1 teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of lemon zest to the brewed tea. Stir gently to mix.
