Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumber

Using a vegetable peeler, create a long ribbon of cucumber. Set aside for garnish.

  2. 2

    Muddle the Mint

In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Using a muddler, gently press the mint leaves to release their oils without tearing them apart.

  1. 3

    Combine the Spirits

Add 1.5 oz of Tanqueray Gin and 1.5 oz of The Botanist Gin to the shaker with muddled mint.

  2. 4

    Add Lime Juice

Pour in 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice to the shaker.

  3. 5

    Shake the Mixture

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

  1. 6

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.

  2. 7

    Add Tonic Water

Top off the glass with 4 oz of tonic water and stir gently to combine.

  3. 8

    Garnish

Garnish the drink with the cucumber ribbon and a sprig of mint for a refreshing touch.
