    Begin by chilling a cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.

    In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Hennessy Paradis Cognac, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 0.25 oz of fresh lemon juice.

    Add 4 ice cubes to the shaker, then secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients.
