Base Spirits
Method
Preparation
- 1
Gather Ingredients
Collect all the base spirits needed for the cocktail. Ensure you have Amaro Nonino, Amaro Ciociaro, Jagermeister, Branca Menta, Fernet Branca, Amaro Montenegro, Cynar, Suze, and Braulio readily available.
- 2
Prepare Mixing Glass
Take a mixing glass and fill it with ice to chill. This will ensure that your cocktail is served cold and well-mixed.
- 3
Measure and Pour Spirits
Using a jigger, measure 1 oz of Amaro Nonino and pour it into the mixing glass. Repeat this process for Amaro Ciociaro, using 1 oz, followed by adding 0.5 oz each of Jagermeister, Branca Menta, Fernet Branca, Amaro Montenegro, Cynar, Suze, and Braulio.
- 4
Mix the Cocktail
Stir the mixture in the mixing glass gently for about 30 seconds. This will combine the spirits and chill the drink thoroughly.
- 5
Strain into Serving Glass
Using a strainer, pour the mixed cocktail into a chilled serving glass. You can use a coupe or rocks glass depending on your preference.
- 6
Garnish (optional)
If desired, garnish the cocktail with an orange twist or a sprig of mint to add a touch of aroma and visual appeal.
- 7
Serve
Serve the cocktail immediately and enjoy the complex bitterness of the mix.
