Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients. Peel and devein the shrimp if not done already. Halve the red potatoes and cut the corn into halves.

Boil the Potatoes
In a large pot, fill it with water (enough to cover the potatoes) and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring the water to a boil. Add the halved red potatoes and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until they are fork-tender.

Cook the Shrimp
Once the corn is tender, add the shrimp to the pot. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.

Drain and Serve
Turn off the heat and carefully drain the pot. Serve the shrimp, corn, and potatoes on a large serving platter or on newspaper for a traditional approach. Enjoy your shrimp boil!
