Method
Chips
- 1
Prepare the Tortillas
Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into triangles, creating chip shapes.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- 3
Fry the Chips
Carefully add a handful of tortilla triangles to the hot oil, frying them in batches to avoid crowding. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 4
Drain the Chips
Using a slotted spoon, remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while they're still hot.

- 7
Season the Salsa
Add lime juice, salt, and garlic powder to the vegetable mixture. Stir well to combine all the flavors.

Chill and Serve
Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve with the freshly made tortilla chips.
