Burger Patty

Burger Assembly

Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties that are about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

Burger Assembly

  1. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato into thin rounds.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, cheese, ketchup, and mayonnaise. Place the top half of the bun on each burger.

Fries Preparation

  1. 7

    Cook the Fries

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the frozen french fries and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes, depending on the thickness.

  2. 8

    Season the Fries

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
