Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly. Grate the cucumber using a box grater or food processor. After grating, place it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture to prevent the Tzatziki from becoming watery.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and finely mince them using a knife or garlic press.

Mixing the Tzatziki

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, red chili flakes, dried dill, and lemon juice.

  2. 4

    Season the Sauce

Add salt and black pepper to taste, mixing well to incorporate all the ingredients evenly.

Chilling the Tzatziki

  1. 5

    Refrigerate

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the Tzatziki to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
