Prepare the Meat Sauce

Cook the Ground Beef
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, for about 8-10 minutes.

Add the Liquids and Seasonings
Stir in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, red wine, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low.

Simmer the Sauce
Cover the skillet and let the sauce simmer gently for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Cook the Spaghetti

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Cook the Spaghetti
Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Drain the Spaghetti
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside.
Serve the Dish

Combine and Garnish
In serving bowls, place a portion of spaghetti and top with the Bolognese sauce. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
