Meat Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Meat

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef sirloin and lamb shoulder, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Roast the Meat

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated beef and lamb on a baking sheet and roast for about 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Tzatziki Sauce

In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, and salt until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Vegetable Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Vegetables

Slice the cucumber and tomato into thin rounds. Wash and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Pita

Take a piece of pita bread and layer it with sliced roasted beef and lamb, followed by cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and a generous drizzle of tzatziki sauce. Roll the pita tightly and serve immediately.
