Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Add Green Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves. Allow it to steep for about 3-5 minutes for a nice flavor.

  3. 3

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a teapot or heatproof container to remove the tea leaves.

Mint Addition

  1. 4

    Add Fresh Mint

Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves to the strained tea. Stir gently to release the mint's aroma and flavor.

  2. 5

    Sweeten to Taste

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar (or honey) to the tea. Stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness according to your preference.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Hot or Iced

You can serve the tea hot immediately, or chill it in the refrigerator to serve over ice. Optionally garnish with additional mint leaves for presentation.
