Preparing the Tea

    Boil Water

    In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

    Steep Tea

    Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and add 4 tablespoons of green tea leaves. Allow to steep for 5 minutes.

    Strain Tea

    After steeping, strain the tea into a large pitcher to remove the leaves.

Flavoring the Tea

    Add Mint and Sugar

    Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves and 1 cup of sugar to the hot tea. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

    Cool and Chill

    Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

Serving

    Prepare Glasses

    In tall glasses, add 1-2 cups of ice cubes and a few lemon slices.
