Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Add the Herbs

Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of dried lavender buds, 1 tablespoon of dried mint leaves, and 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary leaves.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Cover the saucepan with a lid and let the herbs steep for about 10-15 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor to be.

  4. 4

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a teapot or heatproof pitcher.

  5. 5

    Sweeten the Tea (Optional)

If desired, add 2 tablespoons of honey for sweetness and stir well. You can also add lemon slices to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Pour the tea into cups and enjoy it warm or chilled over ice.
