Method
Preparing the Tea

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea

Add Sugar
While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until fully dissolved.

Add Lemon Juice
Stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice to enhance the flavor.
Chilling the Tea

Cool Down
Allow the sweetened tea to cool at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.

Refrigerate
Once cooled, place the tea in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill thoroughly.
Serving

Prepare Glasses
In serving glasses, add ice cubes if desired and pour the chilled tea over the ice.

Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon. Optionally, add peach slices for extra flavor.
