    Boil Water

    In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

    Add Green Tea

    Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of loose green tea to the water.

    Steep Tea

    Remove the saucepan from heat, cover, and let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.

Flavoring

    Add Mint and Sugar

    After steeping, add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves and 2 tablespoons of sugar to the tea.

    Stir and Strain

    Stir well to combine, then strain the tea into a teapot or serving vessel, discarding the leaves and mint.

    Serve

    Pour the hot Moroccan tea into cups. Optionally, garnish with additional mint leaves.
