Garlic Butter

Method

Preparation of Garlic Butter

  1. 1

    Soften the Butter

Take the unsalted butter out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes until it softens.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Use a fork or a spatula to mix everything together until well combined and creamy.

Preparing the Bread

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 4

    Slice the Baguette

Cut the French baguette in half lengthwise to create two long pieces.

  3. 5

    Spread the Garlic Butter

Generously spread the prepared garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the baguette.

Baking the Garlic Bread

  1. 6

    Place in the Oven

Place the buttered baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up, and put them in the preheated oven.

  2. 7

    Bake

Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the butter has melted.

  3. 8

    Cool and Serve

Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute before slicing into pieces. Serve warm.
