Main Ingredients

Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium-sized pot, bring 2 cups of fresh water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Add Chamomile

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Cover the pot with a lid and let the chamomile steep for about 5 minutes. This allows the floral notes and sweetness to infuse into the water.

  4. 4

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the chamomile flowers from the tea, pouring the liquid into your favorite mug.

  5. 5

    Add Sweetness

Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey while the tea is still warm, allowing it to dissolve completely.

  6. 6

    Garnish (optional)

If desired, add a slice of lemon and/or a couple of apple slices to enhance the flavor and presentation.
