Method

Brewing Chamomile Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a rolling boil in a kettle or saucepan.

  2. 2

    Add Chamomile Flowers

Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers.

  3. 3

    Steep

Cover the pot and let the chamomile steep for about 5 minutes to extract the flavors.

  4. 4

    Strain

After steeping, strain the tea into a cup using a fine mesh strainer to remove the chamomile flowers.

Sweetening the Tea

  1. 5

    Add Honey

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 tablespoon of honey until fully dissolved.

  2. 6

    Garnish (Optional)

If desired, add a couple of apple slices to the cup for added flavor and a touch of sweetness.
